Drumset Player Discovers Hand Percussion
I was in South India a second time. At the end of 2022, I not only received lessons in playing the Dholak, but was also able to take home a beautiful instrument: A handmade Dholak made of mango wood, which the drum shop owner Ali had made especially for me.
