Since its inaugural launch screening, hosted by the London Film Academy in February 2021, the short documentary film “Trapped by Plastic” (link) has continued to be recognized for its powerful message throughout the year…
In addition to being selected for several film festivals and winning its first award, the film opened an EU Green Week plenary session and high-level panel discussion on ending marine plastic pollution. It also featured at COP26 in the British Council’s Blue Zone pavilion in Glasgow as well as across British Council social media. The film will continue to be included in selected exhibitions of Mandy Barker’s work and on a new global environmental streaming platform…
